What Should I Bring?

A Bible, a light sweater or jacket, and your spouse.  You will be provided with all necessary learning materials during the conference.  Date night is casual, but feel free to dress up for your special date, if you like.

What can I expect from the conference sessions?

The conference sessions will include a time of worship led by Russell and Kristi, to focus ourselves on Jesus Christ and bring our hearts closer to him.  Russell and Kristi will also be delivering the teaching material during the weekend.  The conference is proud to host teachers with years of experience in marriage counseling who have worked with innumerable couples to build, rebuild and improve their marriages.

We have planned four sessions.  After conference check-in at SpringHill Suites, the first evening will include a dinner event and a time to get to know other couples, followed by our first session. The second day will be onsite at SpringHill Suites and will include three additional teaching sessions, some free time in the afternoon to relax, enjoy the pools or beach, and then an opportunity to have a date night on your own that evening. The third day will include a morning teaching session and Sunday worship.

Do I have to stay at the SpringHill Suites Pigeon Forge?

While it’s not required to stay at the SpringHill Suites, it is strongly recommended to get the maximum benefit from the marriage weekend. The SpringHill Suites offers a free hot breakfast buffet every morning in addition to your comfortable queen or king suite. The special rate of $119 per night at the SpringHill Suites is only available until October 5, 2014, when you call (865) 453-4514 or 1-800-MARRIOTT and ask for the “Adore Marriage Conference” rate.

Is Childcare Available?

We are unable to provide childcare during the conference program.  As a courtesy to other participants, please make prior arrangements.

If I attended a previous Adore Marriage event, will I hear the same things in Pigeon Forge?

The 2014 Pigeon Forge conference will feature new teaching and will feature brand-new elements.  Our alumni are encouraged to attend again as often as possible.  Each year will feature new, relevant material.  Speakers may rotate or be the same, but the material will be new.
